I'd heard so much about this place years ago, and finally found myself here the other nightWas a little confused coming up to the hotel lobby.
This restaurant is fantastic for both food and drinks. The effort put into elevating the quality of the dishes is evident, with attention to detail in plating. I tried five dishes and they all tasted delicious.
Located within the Inn the Opera, Pläj is a hidden gem of a restaurant. The cuisine is fresh and the portion sizes are substantial without being overwhelming. This upscale establishment calls for a slightly more dressy attire, so leave the jeans and t-shirts at home and opt for something a little more sophisticated. Be sure to sample the Gioia Burrata and the Swedish Meatballs, they are highly recommended. The staff is well-informed about the menu and the service is top-notch. Pläj is the perfect spot to grab a bite before heading to a show at the Opera or the Orpheum just down the street.
