Feedback
Cotogna in San Francisco is a favorite for many, with glowing reviews highlighting the quality of food, friendly service, and cozy atmosphere. However, it seems like there have been some disappointments, such as high pricing, cramped seating, and issues with reservations. One guest had a bad experience with the manager and others felt shortchanged on their orders. Despite these concerns, the majority of diners raved about the delicious dishes, especially the ravioli, pasta, and dessert options. The attentive staff and welcoming ambiance helped create memorable dining experiences for most patrons. Overall, Cotogna appears to be a popular choice for those seeking a tasty Italian meal in the heart of San Francisco.
Cotogna remains simply one of the best Italian restaurants in the city! Consistently delicious food, attentive and warm service in a beautifully designed space--the ultimate restaurant combination. At lunch there on a recent Wednesday, the manager was on the floor, laser focused on ensuring everything was running smoothly...always a restaurant I want to return to!
Amazing as usual! You guys at Cotogna take such good care of me every time I go! This is my favorite restaurant in all of SF! Great fresh pasta/cuisine! The pizza is always delicious. Thank you Chef!!!!
Had a lovely (and pricey) dinner here. Food was amazing and service was excellent. Was seated immediately at our reservation time. Highly recommend the pizza with pesto and squash as our overall favorite. Also really enjoyed the garganelli pasta ad thehalibut crudo. The cocktail with juniper berries was also very good!
This was my first experience at any of the restaurants in San Francisco and the food was exceptional. We shared 2 appetizers that each had amazing textures and flavors. The gnocchi entree was spectacular. Rich, creamy and satisfying. Dessert waschocolate heaven. I will be back on my next visit.
