Been several times to this Tavern and I must say that each time I have been disappointed. It takes forever to get served (and even then it is by totally disinterested staff) And then takes forever to get your food. The childrnes play area is no more than a place where parents get to put their kids and then walk away to enjoy their night with little to no supervision (even though it states that children must be superv... Prices reasonable for a mining city. service pleasant and efficient. husbands schnitzel was good. my chili and garlic snails were average. not too clean. we have not estimated that young children are running and screaming in the escalation. the mothers had a nice...friend, but it wasn't fair on other customers and the risk that the children were injured seemed no problem.
The pizzas are quite good, beer is cold and prices are reasonable it is a mining town. they tell me they're pretty Friday nights. good there with dj/music options
The children's fish meal had a bad smell and was overly smothered in barbecue sauce. The salmon and burgers were disappointing as well. The meat dishes were particularly unsatisfactory, with the medium rare steak appearing to have been cooked too briefly and containing gristle in the sirloin.

Food was plain, and chicken schnitzel was produced chicken, not a real breast piece also served with what seemed like woolworths bought coleslaw (first for me really thought it would have been a salad).
