We visited Burr's Country Park and, after a lovely trip on the steam train to Rawtenstall, we were ready for brunch. We chose The Fig Tree, a charming café located on the main street, and although we initially thought we had to sit outside with our beagle, we were pleasantly surprised. Went to The Fig Tree this afternoon for the first time as I don 't live nearby. I had an 'oat milk coffee with crumpets and both were really delicious. However it was the whole 'vibe ' of the place that made me want to linger and stay longer right up until closing time. Called in for a coffee with my sister. A cosy little cafe doing a good latte, hot for a change which I like. Pleasant staff and quick service

Lovely food, friendly staff, popular place. Highly recommend a visit. Stilton and mushroom jacket potato was very nice.
