Woodblock has a unique veggie burger with a falafel patty. The hostess was able to get that made for me, although missing in the diner menu, so maybe just ask for it. The Burger tasted fantastic and the Pommes were right. I have a table in the heated tent on the street, it was a beautiful environment overall. View all feedback.

The food was fine, the cocktails good, but (after one of us had finished the meal but the other had not) we were asked about wrapping things up every 4 5 minutes. It was just after 3:00pm on a Sunday, most tables were empty, we were not keeping anyone from their reservation so to pressure us to leave was both needless and rude. We met some friends here and had a reservation for on a Friday night. The place was busy the whole time, and crowded at the door which is a pinch spot-not for claustrophobics. Happy hour prices include some small plates from a limited menu that can be ordered from any seat in the restaurant. Roasted cauliflower with no sauces was plain but healthy, and the chicken wings were good with two sauces one sweet and one mildly spicy. I picked this place for the gluten-free options and fresh sounding menu. It was good for both. The quinoa-kale salad with salmon or chicken extra was good. The waiter said they could not remove the jalapenos from the salad but we could not taste them at all. Salad was delicious. Recommend a reservation since this isn't a super big place.
This is a great place to go for happy hour or for business lunch dinner. Service is always prompt and professional.
We had some delicious Gnocchi with short ribs and a tasty Kale salad. I will come back for those two. The wine inventory must have been low, because it took tries to get a bottle of wine that was in stock.
We dined outside and didn’t get to try their indoor seating, but the outdoor area was a bit uncomfortable. They could improve by providing more comfortable chairs and sturdier tables, as ours was somewhat shaky. On the upside, our waitress was very enthusiastic and humorous, which made the experience much more enjoyable. The crab cake Benedict was so delicious that I ended up ordering a second one. I would definitely return, but next time I’ll choose to sit indoors.
