Unfortunately, the food was disappointing and the... read more After reading several positive reviews, we eagerly made a reservation at this restaurant two weeks in advance. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing and the service incredibly slow. The one redeeming factor was the friendly server. The timing of our small plates and entrees being brought to the table all at once was not ideal. As newcomers from the San Francisco Bay Area, we would rank this Thai restaurant as one of the worst we have tried.

I arrived right when they opened, but they seated a family before me. I asked if I could order 2-3 dishes to go, but they refused even though I was willing to wait and didn't expect it to be ready immediately. The atmosphere was unpleasant and the customer service was terrible.

I made an online reservation 2 weeks in advance for a Friday night dinner with my fiance. We arrived at 7pm, but the waiter couldn't find our reservation. After checking my Google Calendar and email, I realized there was a mix-up with the reservation time. Despite feeling unwelcome, we ordered and waited a while for our food. The dishes looked great but the flavors were disappointing - the soup was too sour, the noodles were bland, and the curry wasn't spicy as requested. While I understand that mistakes happen, the server's attitude was unwelcoming and made us feel like a burden. Unfortunately, we won't be returning to Saap.

Your food will take a little longer to come out since only few people working in the kitchen, and they got more foots traffic since they got this prestigious award.
