We rediscovered this place because they move from Ste-Foy 5 years ago, since we leave close, we decided to stop by after a day outside under the sun. we sat near the wine display which is filled with tons of great looking wine bootles. I had the snails and let me tell you it was the best snails I ever had in my life... other place serve it and they still taste like rubber, BUT here you will find tender tasting snails... This was purported to be a very good steak house. Well, other than the hostess, it was a bomb! The waitress couldn’t give us the time of day, didn’t care with what we had to comment on and seemed rushed it wasn’t hat busy. This is a place that wants to be classy but is more a run of the mill steakhouse. Best restaurant in the neighbourhood - arrived in Quebec City early evening and was my birthday. The clerks at the hotel desk recommended it because it was "the best close by" - meaning there was nothing close...or nothing that great! Food was decent, wine list decent, atmosphere ...decent. We had the special steak and lobster...I didn't know that lobsters had tails that small...steak was okay/ Like I said - it wants to be "special" but nothing was extraordinary.
