I discovered Silver Dish by chance and was delighted by how excellent it was. I’m surprised I hadn’t come across it until now! Despite becoming more popular, the prices are still very reasonable. In my view, this is the finest Thai cuisine in the city.
Silver Dish is my favorite Thai restaurant in the area. I especially enjoy the yellow curry, whether with tofu or just vegetables. The portions are generous enough for leftovers, and it’s all under $10.
I had the pineapple fried tofu, which was quite tasty. I also tried the mango curry, which was delightful and aromatic.
I wish I could give 10 stars. We love this place so much! The food is always good. The remodel looks great too. We got shrimp green curry, papaya salad (level 3 spice) and little Thai fried chicken as our appetizer this time. Everything was aboveexpectations.
Doordashed an order from Silver Dish Thai and got the chicken massaman curry and sweet rice with mango. The massaman curry was super salty, the chicken was dry, but the potatoes and carrot were soft and tender. The sweet rice was not very good. The mangoswere so mushy and flavorless. It was honestly surprising that it looks so put together in my photo. The sweet sauce over thecompressed disk of rice was an interesting display for a dessert. I'll have to try something else from their menu next time andgive it another chance. I was not very impressed with what I received. #thisishowichow #thaifood #chickenmassamancurry#sweetriceandmango
