The bar area hosts live music every weekend and special themed nights during the week. Staff trained personally by Caroline ensure a high standard of customer service. I came here for lunch with some old friends, and the service was excellent. We were greeted right away, and our drink orders were taken promptly. I was pleasantly surprised by the extensive menu, and the food was absolutely delicious. I can't wait to return! View all feedback.
This pub was not doing so well until a recent change in management brought new life to the menu and improved its overall success.
A great, welcoming pub that has experienced some turnover in management and clientele. After a period of decline, it appears to be thriving once again.
I often visit this pub on Thursday nights for quiz night. The atmosphere is really nice, and the bar staff and customers all seem very friendly.
Came here for lunch with some old friends, the service was brilliant.. we were greeted right away and the drinks order took no time at all. The menu was a lot bigger than expected and the food was so delicious. I will definitely be coming back to the sloop!
Very good food, service was slow, however the owner came and apologised, as a large group had ordered minutes before us.
