Dinners aren 't usually great value at these kinds of establishments, but at 21.9 the 'value ' was absolutely awesome (we had the Land and Truffle menus). Also, love it when a restaurant allows guests to choose different set menus. I wish there were more guests, 21.9 really deserves that. Awesome location, beautiful property, and really good food/wine. Wide range of menus and a very generous wine list. We chose the traditional menu and menu de terra. The chef took us on a journey through the Piedmont terroir. Each dish simple, cooked to perfection and well balanced. Attentive staff and comfortable setting. The only remark is the limited commentation of the staff on specific questions regarding the preparation and cooking techniques being used
This is a superb place that offers an unbeatable quality-price service. The house is splendid in the middle of its wineyard and the menus are well balanced and interesting. Although our menu was of (relatively unequal level, our meal in general was certainly worth the Michelin star of the house, with no real deception and a couple of superb dishes. The terrace is very pleasant and the service efficient and professional, if not specially friendly. Our only criticism might be about the service pace that was perhaps a bit too fast (but better than the opposite! . Impressive wine list, good breads, good coffee. Extremely reasonable prices. Definitely worth the detour.
2nd time we have stayed at the hotel, went to 21.9 restaurant last night and it was absolutely amazing! The food was stunning and Flávio is actually cooking it ! Rare these days. A fantastic way to spend a birthday weekend, as the hotel also arranged truffle hunting we found 4 truffles- one was white ! and then wine tasting all within the hotel.
I often eat here, and every time it 's an experience. I 've been following Flavio since he was in Savona. And even though I now have to travel a bit to visit him, I have to say that given the dream location, he made a truly perfect choice. They also organize weddings and events, overseen by the brilliant Monica, who will ensure nothing is left to chance. I speak from experience, because in early September 2025, after making my partner fall in love with this magical place, we got married here. It was a dream party; my best man must have told me at least 10 times, Congratulations, because in my opinion and everyone else 's opinion, it was a sensational wedding. And indeed, he wasn 't the only one to offer such compliments; in fact, there were quite a few. But the most important thing is that both my wife and I are thrilled with that magical day, and we will never stop thanking Flavio and Monica, first and foremost, but also their wonderful staff who made it all possible.
