California Chutney - Pasadena

What Joana Oberbrunner likes about California Chutney:
We walked for lunch today. Love the concept. Naan Tacos and Roti Burritos together with traditional articles. And they make the naan in a traditional oven as you order! Had the tacos so I could try a variety of their flavors. Loved the lamb, loved the chicken Marsala, but the grilled chicken was salted to a level of infertility. If it weren't for that curse, they would definitely have got five stars from me. View all feedback.

The restaurant is situated in a pleasant location, but unfortunately, that is the only positive aspect of this establishment. We decided to try the lamb and shrimp biryani dish. The lamb portion was lacking in meat and not cooked to our liking. Both dishes had the same biryani rice, which was overly sweet and excessively spicy.
