What a quaint and nice place! They even gave outdoor seating. Food was delicious! I got the citrus grilled salmon with the dill sauce. I got a side of perogies and snap peas. Peas tasted great , just too chewy. Fresh flowers in all the tables. I love zinnias!
My boyfriend and I went out with our friends here today for the first time. We have never been here so we had no idea what to expect. Now if you have seen any of my reviews I am very picky with what I eat. I ordered from the special menu. I got the creamy pesto pasta with sautéed asparagus, tomato and mushrooms topped with grilled chicken. The pasta was cooked to perfection! The amount of sauce was on point. Everything about the pasta was on point. Everyone enjoyed all of there food. I'm so glad that we stopped to at this Cafe to get dinner. If you have not been here yet to eat. You should definitely stop.
Lisa's Cafe is a charming little restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and polite. My father and I had lunch there; he ordered the Grilled Brown Sugar Glazed Ham Steak with French Onion Soup and Mac and Cheese, while I chose the Deep Fried Beer-Battered Cod Filets with Sweet Potato Fries and Grilled Asparagus. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. My father loved the ham—it was incredibly tender, cutting like butter—and said the French onion soup was one of the best he’d had in a long time. My beer-battered cod was cooked perfectly, crispy and flavorful. The sweet potato fries were tasty, and the grilled asparagus was cooked just right. As a nice touch, both of our meals came with a delicious slice of cantaloupe. We really enjoyed our meal and look forward to coming back.
Lisa's Cafe earns a solid 4 stars for its charming small-town vibe, generous portions, and friendly staff. The menu highlights include the sweet potato fries, seasoned waffle fries, and the Reuben sandwich, which were clear favorites.
