I was treated to a special day at the Palace Hotel, and I felt welcomed the moment I arrived thanks to the friendly receptionist. What Lesley Holliday doesn't like about Palace:
Shower no control to cool it down and the taps not good in our room, turned around and soaked you as pressure so high. Meal was booked and paid for for 4 of us but was told by restaurant that it was not booked with them, so we had to sit outside of restaurant as they were fully booked, even though they had been told 2.5 months before hand and on the 3 days prior to our booking and on the day!!!
