I was treated to a special day at the Palace Hotel, and I felt welcomed the moment I arrived thanks to the friendly receptionist. I was shown to a beautiful room with stunning views of the seafront, equipped with everything I needed, including both snacks and drinks. What Lesley Holliday doesn't like about Palace:
Shower no control to cool it down and the taps not good in our room, turned around and soaked you as pressure so high. Meal was booked and paid for for 4 of us but was told by restaurant that it was not booked with them, so we had to sit outside of restaurant as they were fully booked, even though they had been told 2.5 months before hand and on the 3 days prior to our booking and on the day!!! This was at least our eighth visit to this beautiful hotel from the torbay riviera royals red hat ladies. as always there are beautiful surroundings, a beautiful place, delicious eating and wonderful service with extremely courtesy, professional and friendly staff. we were on Thursday, 12th april 2018, as a group for a birthday dinner here (photos on my Facebook page). we had a wonderful evening! many thanks, especially to sue page, the restaurant manager.
Thank you to The Palace Hotel and Spa for a fantastic Mother's Day lunch. Lovely food, fab service (thank you Sue, Paul, David and Jack pianist was very nice and we all had a great time, fantastic value for money too.
