very friendly staff, fast sitting and seen. excellent with allergies and menus. eating was fragrant and spicy, which is not to be liked. rocky was a brilliant waiter and made sure we had everything we needed. they knock out the food! amazing: View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Paste:
After many visits I would Paste is one best places to visit if you want restaurant quality Thai food. It’s really hard to choose a favourite dish. I will say my latest dish was the roast duck with garlic fried rice. It was really juicy and great tasting duck. You have a good options of drinks too from Cha yen (Thai milk tea) to wines. Visited Paste with friends whilst on a weekend away in Nottingham. It was nice and straightforward to book a table and the restaurant is in a good central location. The food comes out quickly but in terms of taste/ flavour it’s very average. I had the thai green curry which was described as ‘hot’ in terms of spice level, but it really wasn’t and was actually quite bland. ‘Thai style chips’ were also not what I had expected, they were just some chips with what could be compared to peri salt sprinkled on top. The service was fine and the restaurant itself was nice and clean. Just the food that is a bit underwhelming.
Really central and a lovely independent restaurant with authentic Thai dishes, beautifully cooked and presented. Venture beyond all the chains, you will not regret it.
I recently dined at this restaurant with friends for the first time before a show. The dining room was nice, the service was efficient and friendly, and the food was excellent.
Lovely Thai.Fabulous value for money!Second visit and just as good as we remembered.Very Covid aware.Big portions and good quality ingredients.Friendly wait staff.£9.95 for 3 course lunch.Be aware if it says spicey it certainly is!
Really impressed with this little restaurant. Authentic Thai food, presented well and served up by incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Will definitely return.
