Was mikezhivago at Scoffs a mag?
Looked up on trip advisor for evening meal and found Scoffs . Nice clean entrance and sanitizer in place . Ordered fish chips for two and awaited delivery to a separate table . Just 5 minutes later they were ready for us to takeaway. Friendly goodbye from the owner . Got back to our room to enjoy really fresh fish and crunchy delicious chips . It said Yorkshire Fish and Chips on the door and would you believe it they where brilliant. Home made mushy peas, Haddock skin on, brilliant chips, pot of tea and the staff where excellent service with a very big smile. Never really understand why this place doesn't seem as busy as it should. Staff are great. Food is great. Portion sizes are good value; kids meals definitely. We enjoyed it... just felt a little bleak
A real fool! beautiful and helpful staff. chips were beautiful and fluffy on the inside and had a unique crispy outer coating I wish I had a xl!
This chippy is very unique compared to others. It used to be a bank on the high street! The staff are kind and attentive, and the food is excellent - the fish and chips were delicious. They even gave us a free pot of tea because they only had one small haddock available.
The restaurant had a friendly, efficient, and attentive service staff. The restaurant and toilet facilities were spotlessly clean, bright, modern, and airy. The food was delicious, especially the chicken nuggets made with large chunks of chicken breast in a tasty batter. I would highly recommend trying them. I am looking forward to our next visit.
