The food was excellent. but 3-hours for a 4-course meal was really long. Only one server for so many people was not manageable. We were all seated at 6pm and didn't have our entrée until 8pm. I enjoyed our social time but by 8pm I was ready to go home. Dinner clean up. Dessert and paying the b8ll we didn't leave until 855pm. The corn chowder, salad and lamb were all amazing. Just held hostage too long. If you could do dinner service start to finish in two hours it would be perfect! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100
Sadly the new management has cancelled dinner service. We returned to stay at Sylvia Beach for the cat and dinner. Now there is neither. A month or two after we made our reservations, we got the call that they had closed for dinner. When we arrived, looking for the cat, we were sad to learn that she had been re-homed. We will see how the rest of the stay goes.
Pretty cool place, I've never been to a place with a full course meal. The food was great and the service was great as well. The view was awesome as well and they gave us a wonderful evening. My only complaints would be price and parking, the price is understandable but me being somewhat poor,I won't be able to visit often and the parking was a little cramped.
