There is a formal restaurant upstairs and a seating area for coffee or you may be luck enough to attend an event and eat in the dinning rooms where the Ryder Cup teams ate. For us, we were comfortable in the leather arm chairs in the downstairs spikes bar, having coffee and a shortbread in expectation of a round on the 2010 in a 30mph wind and then a beer to celebrate surviving it.
