There is a formal restaurant upstairs and a seating area for coffee or you may be luck enough to attend an event and eat in the dinning rooms where the Ryder Cup teams ate. For us, we were comfortable in the leather arm chairs in the downstairs spikes bar, having coffee and a shortbread in expectation of a round on the 2010 in a 30mph wind and then a beer to celebrate surviving it. A nice place to grab a drink snack View all feedback.
Don't eat here, find a local business that looks after its customers. Not worth the money.... at all.
The food and service was excellent. It has great views and well worth a visit. This is not cheap but for a special occasion it is worth it. My only issue was the wine list, quite expensive and marked up.
We have eaten here several times and also taken our parents. Food has been great every time, as has the service. Sunday lunch is also very good.
Living on the reputation of the 2010 Ryder cup will not be enough to keep this going. They have overpriced most things. Terribly slow rounds. 6 hours average.
Amazing views of the Ryder Cup Course overlooking the 18th. Food was solid but without being spectacular. Pricey but service was superb and so given location, to be expected.
