**Sofia's: A Mixed Culinary Experience**
Sofia's restaurant offers a delightful ambiance and a mix of enjoyable dishes, though opinions on the overall experience vary. While some praised the cozy atmosphere and handmade pasta, others found service lacking, with reports of unrefilled drinks and slow delivery. Highlights include the flavorful spicy pizza, rich focaccia, and delectable meatballs; however, portion sizes and value for the price were points of contention. The decor adds a charming touch, ideal for special occasions, yet consistent experiences are key. Reservations are highly recommended due to its popularity. For those seeking Italian fare in a cozy setting, Sofia's remains a notable choice.

The atmosphere was fantastic, making it a perfect spot for date night. I really appreciated the decor, the lighting, the pizza oven, and the open kitchen design. They even have a chandelier made of cutlery and plates—how unique is that? As for the food, the kale salad was delightful! The pasta was flavorful, but I thought it was a bit pricey for the portion size. The pizza, however, was just average. I was really excited to see the oven and perhaps my high expectations led to some disappointment. The dessert was beautifully presented, which added to the experience, but it was too sweet for my taste and hard to finish. I would definitely return for drinks and appetizers!
This was a fantastic spot for a lovely birthday dinner. The idea here is to share several plates, but I found the pasta portions substantial enough to be a meal on their own when you choose. Both the lamb pasta and truffle risotto were absolutely delicious! The cocktails were enjoyable, and we also ordered a dessert that was equally amazing. Although we didn’t try the pizza, they looked very tempting. We arrived early (around 5:45 PM) and it was quite empty, but it quickly filled up. By the time we left, every table was occupied. I definitely recommend making a reservation for dinner!
The food was amazing! The Spicy Pizza was out of this world with its incredible flavor and texture—it had a delightful sweetness from the honey and a hint of lemon that made it shine! The meatballs were good, but nothing extraordinary. The pasta was exactly what I wanted from butter noodles; it was cooked to perfection, just the right amount of al dente. A true delight!
Dined last night for my Girlfriend’s birthday and we had a great time. The ricotta and sardines were delicious. Gluten free pizza was really good too. I ordered the risotto for my entree and it was rather salty and too loose, not creamy. The soft shell crab was surprisingly small as well. Other than that the food was really tasty.
