I discovered this restaurant on Texas Bucket List and made the drive from San Antonio to Austin just to try it out, as Shane never disappoints. It was a delightful surprise - there was a great country band playing and the atmosphere was fantastic! The service during lunch was excellent, but I was disappointed with my thin and dried-out hamburger steak. The mashed potatoes had a gray color with dark skins mashed in, and were only warm, not hot. The green beans were good, however. I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years, but today's experience left me disappointed. I may give them one more chance to see if the quality improves.
