The view from the patio overlooking the lake or pond in the distance is very nice. The smoked salmon for breakfast was fresh and tasty, although the bagel was standard. The wait staff was friendly and accommodating, providing a perfect breakfast experience. The team service was great, with perfectly timed courses and attentive support staff. This is a fantastic restaurant for a date night, with amazing food and attentive service. Located in downtown Napa, this delicious restaurant offers indoor or outdoor seating with a great view. Everything on the menu is amazing, with lamb meatballs being a standout. The staff is very attentive, providing a pleasant dining experience. The kids' buffet provided a great selection for children. Although some dishes like the swordfish and the filet with zucchini and squash medley were a bit lackluster, the overall experience was saved by an excellent waiter. The noise level at Basalt is perfect for conversation, and the food is great at a fair price. Perfect for a night out with friends, new or old, with recommendations already given and plans to return in the future.
