Was Anonym at Mitchell Bakery a mag?
Stayed in Mitchell for a few days and called into the bakery for morning tea and we were certainly not disappointed. The lamingtons were huge, absolutely the best I have ever tasted, and very reasonably priced compared to city bakeries. Husband had the caramel slice and he said that was also very good. I went to this bakery in the mid-morning looking for some pies. We were the only ones inside and stood at the counter waiting to be served. The staff kept chatting amongst themselves and we felt like we were an inconvenience. The pies were not marked with their types. Has it all, great breaky pie. Sit down meals and sunny seats out side. Big selection. Great little town.
Went for morning tea & had a great lamington , brought the bread to make our lunch &'it was so fresh & soft

A must do stop when in this town, can't recommend it highly enough, the staff were also very friendly and the coffee was great.
Your fish and chips sat 12th relax the cravings.Sun 13th breakfast coffee got us through the whole day. Your family , wish we spend more time in mitchell sharing there. The little boy with play house and toys like to play
