This KFC in Millbrae is a convenient, affordable stop known for fast, friendly service, clean interiors and a consistently praised tangy coleslaw. Staff and management are attentive, and drive-thru efficiency suits commuters and beachgoers. However, food quality is uneven—items can be dry, oily or overly salty at times, and fountain drinks occasionally lack fizz—so expect convenience but occasional lapses in freshness and flavor.
I visited KFC today (06/01/22) and saw that they've opened their lobby to offer a new meal option. However, they still seem to be falling behind other fast-food chains like McDonald's, Carl's Jr., and Burger King. If you're traveling like I am and prefer not to eat in your car, it can be quite frustrating when the lobby is closed.
After a long day at work, I pulled up craving some chicken and found myself third in a line of more than 15 cars. The staff were all very courteous and as quick as possible. The person at the window was exceptionally patient when the wind blew my card away as I was trying to pay. Plus, they really serve great KFC.
I think KFC has improved their chicken sandwich, likely in response to competition from Popeye's. However, they still have issues with consistency; one week it tastes excellent, but today it seemed overly salty, as if too much salt had been added to the batter. The staff was quite friendly, so I gave it a rating of 4 stars.
ImI made this complaint for bad service Why? Because I made order pieces and they put always one pieces less. I talked with manager and she saw the error and never apologize
