Was Anonym at Loafer Bread a mag?
Generally good small and intimate space. Only four tables and a bench inside. Coffee creamy and tasty but a bit weak and underdone in my humble view. Not sufficiently Melbourne like. Staff pleasant. Breads and cakes looked good although a small range only as the place itself is small. Brisk business. Has potential to grow. It's a 3.5 from me. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Loafer Bread:
More great coffee, in North Fitzroy - only 4 tables inside and a small window bench - it can get crowded. Go for the coffee and the pastries and of course the bead View all feedback.
My partner and I stopped by this organic bakery to pick up some bread. I ended up purchasing the most delicious croissant that was light and buttery... wow! I also bought a baguette that was crunchy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. It was so good that I should have bought two haha. I also bought a light rye burger that was equally delicious. This was some of the best bread and croissants I have had in a while. This bakery is definitely worth a visit!
The best croissants and pain au chocolat in Melbourne are just as good as those from the top bakeries in France. The locals love them so much that there is always a long line on the weekends, but fortunately, it moves quickly!
This restaurant serves possibly the best hot cross buns in town! There is a reasonably long line that moves quickly, so we were lucky to find a table out front (as there aren't many seats available). In addition to the delicious hot cross buns, we also tried a chocolate croissant which was pretty good - not quite as good as Lune, but close. It's a great spot for a Saturday morning breakfast and to pick up some bread for the day. They also supply a few local cafes.
Came here on a weekend day just after lunch before they close. We ordered the croissant with home made jam, and a egg baguette sandwich. Both of which are divine. The bread crunch and the flavour of the egg and mayo is moorish and can’t be stopped.
