I appreciate degustation menus as they push me to try new and unexpected flavor combinations. The standout dish for us was the pork belly skewers, which had just the right amount of fat for a burst of flavor in every bite. Each dish was memorable and unique, such as the surprising combination of corn and scallop.

When greeted the gentleman said we could sit anywhere we liked and didn’t receive my special request and when we sat down in the “4 people only” seat he said he would have to relocate us if 4 people come in. Not the best food and it took a long time between courses, but the place has a good ambiance. I would come back for drinks.

Our bill was 200 for two people -Food was very expensive for a below average experience.
When it comes to a nice and cosy bar, I think of Hihou. You enter a comfortable setting where you can sit down, enjoy a drink, and have a chat. I appreciate the variety on the menu, with many drinks being Japanese-inspired. We tried the shoya and really enjoyed it. The ambience and service here are great.
Great place as a Japanese bar. Tried the set dinner. A bit pricey. The bar is well hidden as the name suggests. Liked their sake based cocktail.
