Knew all about this place way back in the 1970’s……. Never seemed to get it together to visit Popped in today near to their closing, not hurried, two pies, two mash and properly good thick gravy…….. not being a liquor fan myself. Made the mistake last weekend of taking my dad for pie and mash at Kelly's along Bethnal Green Road and it was undoubtedly the worst pie and mash we gave ever had, avoid like the plague. We then took my dad for pie and mash here and it was like chalk and cheese with this being probably the best pie and mash we have had in a very long time so would highly recommend this to anyone.
