the lake buvette, in the heart of the borély park. simple and tasty cuisine, very good price. the welcome of the boss and waitresses is really very friendly and reactive. and the setting is absolutely superb, on the lake edge, surrounded by ducks, wigs, monks, and a beautiful paon that sometimes ventures in the middle of the tables. What naneliz doesn't like about La Buvette Du Lac:
Idyllic setting complete with passing boats, ducks and even roving farm animals on the premises. Huge old trees overhead. Gorgeous. The downsides are that they don 't accept credit cards, the croque monsieur was grilled cheese with ham on white toast, and the wine was below average. My friend liked her omelet okay but not the fries. Still, go for the views... on that count, we definitely recommend. View all feedback.
