Loved it. Great place to hang out with friends. Service exceptional and wine very good. Upper end wines are good, however over priced. Stick to the €21 price band for value. Cheese and ham platter great to share and soak up the booze.

Went there for the first time yesterday. The drinks and wine were good, as was the service. No waiting time for the table (around 6:30 p.m. and pretty quick service.
Dolce Amaro – bittersweet – something beautiful with a touch of melancholy ⸻ Beautifully situated under the arcades by the water tower, in Mannheim's most charming area – a place where you immediately feel welcome, even if you arrive alone. Pleasant guests, a relaxed atmosphere, and an almost familial chemistry within the team that noticeably extends to the (regular) patrons. The staff is exceptionally warm and competent. Iris greets you warmly, the bar managers are friendly, competent, and attentive – you can tell the teamwork here is excellent. My culinary favorites: focaccia with burrata, the fantastic almond cake, and the excellent wine. Whether for breakfast, lunch, business meetings, dinner, or enjoying the bar scene with great music – you can experience it all here. A true favorite spot in Mannheim. I'll be back again and again.
