We visit Vilamoura and its restaurant often, The Mayflower is set in a great location on the marina, with good food and wine menu. We visited times, and the food, wine and service was excellent everytime. It is a more fine dinning restaurant, the price was very resonable for the quality. We will be returning again. I had octopus and my friend had a Portuguese steak. The steak was supposed to be medium rare but it came well done. My octopus was cooked very nicely, smooth and soft but unfortunately it was a little bit tasteless and it lacked character and quantity.
