Had another look, hoping to finish off a few days holiday on a high and decided to give Polpetto it a whirl. The food was great, innovative and inspired. Disappointing. Has there been a change of chef recently? I used to go to polpetto regularly a year or two ago but I went back today for lunch and couldn't recognise anything on the menu. No maple tart for dessert for example and the waiter had never heard of it. It used to be one of their signature dishes. The food wasn't bad, it just wasn't as great as I remember it View all feedback.
