Super fresh, simple Jordanian food. Had asked the Arabic salad (tomatoes and cucumbers with a lot of parsley on salad) whether they serve with Pita on the side, but no bread or Pita goes close. They give you a tzatziki-like sauce that gives the salad an extra-garlic oomphe. Since there could be cross-contamination when you get meat or other salads, only 4 hearts - always ask! Great food at reasonable prices. I make a point to eat at Tarboush time I'm in Lima. I usually stick to the mixed shawarma but the ribs are good too.
This was delicious late-night (drinking food). My wife and I had a large greek salad and a mixed shawarma. It was very cheap. The only downside came when they forgot to put in my shawarma. It came quickly after they realized it. This place was slammed so prepare to wait a few minutes for a table.
