Recently stayed for a night with friends, could not fault anything. Rooms were immaculate and the food was really good. We had various evening meals which were all good, the cherry bakewell is to die for. Breakfast was also delicious, plentiful and good value. All the staff were great, very friendly. Went two or three years ago and had a decent meal so thought we'd try it again,sadly disappointed !Alarm bells should have been ringing when dining room was completely empty at Sunday teatime.Just basic pub grub which wasn't as the menu or ordered,only saving grace was that the waitress was friendly,polite apologetic for the mistakes.Not be returning in the foreseeable future !
