Was Anonym at The Briars a mag?
This is a nice local pub with a good selection of food and decent beer. However, I noticed that the interior is quite dimly lit, making it hard to see, which might not be ideal for everyone. It's a good idea to call ahead to confirm if the food is available, and making a reservation could be beneficial as well. View all feedback.
We ordered fish and chips with mushy peas without realizing there was a 99p charge for them, while garden peas were included. The amount of mushy peas we received was minimal and not worth the 99p, as you can buy a tin for 50p at the supermarket. It also felt like a saving for the restaurant since we didn't get the garden peas. Despite this, the fish and chips were delicious. We will come back but won't be ordering the small amount of mushy peas with the unjustified charge of 99p. They should be included in the meal.
Fantastic service!! Me and a friend popped in for some lunch and we were very happy with the service provided. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be booking again.
Nice family meal last night for my daughters birthday staff where great Food was lovely was limited menu but when I called night before I was told about it so good
Went for food last week and the service was amazing. Staff knowledgable about the menu and helped with any changes we needed to the meals which came out quick and cooked perfect. Much better than the previous times we had been last year the atmosphere has improved so much. Will deffo be back
I went into this restaurant for a quick bite to eat and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was. The service was fast and the staff were extremely friendly. I ended up staying to watch the football game on one of the many TV screens available. The atmosphere was great and I would give this place a perfect 10 out of 10 rating.
