Absolute hidden gem, by far the most affordable and maybe even the best lunch I have had on Oahu. Simple authentic dishes served with super fresh ingedients. Take out or limited outdoor seating only. If you're doing something at the Ranch, this is the ONLY place you should be going after for a bite. I will be making a point to visit the couple who owns it every time i'm back on the Island. Amazing place to eat. It’s one of those hole in the wall type of restaurant. But it’s definitely worth it to stop by. The wife of the owner is a very sweet lady and was very nice to us. The food is delicious. We tried the fish tacos and the smoothie with the papaya in it. Watch out for Uncle Bobo though. He does seem to get stressed and has some attitude when it gets busy. None was directed to us directly; but the customers who came in after us. Limited seating and parking. Probably the best food we had on the island though.
I went there after seeing the reviews and it was just as expected! It was delicious. It was perfect for Korean tastes, so it was convenient during the trip and it was very delicious! Please note that this is a place where you can order using a QR code.
What a lovely place to eat! We came here totally by accident and had no expectations it surprised us! The owner is so kind and sweet and the food was delicious. We ordered the chicken katsu and mac and cheese balls. : we will definitely come back here if we’re in the area!
Ahi Katsu Bowl is a must. Freshly caught Ahi by local fishermen. Uncle Bobo is super fun and makes great food/drinks. If you’re around Kualua Ranch, don’t forget to stop by at Uncle Bobo‘s! +They only do outside seatings and you need to scan a QR code to order, but it’s pretty seamless.
