The sauerbraten was NOT sauerbraten, they literally just dumped plain brown gravy on odd cuts of beef and called it Sauerbraten. It had zero tang. The schweinebraten had the exact same brown sauce on it, with random cuts of pork that were tough and chewy. The spaetzle was okay, the red cabbage was passable but somewhat lacking in zest.
