Tucked away on Upper Street, this restaurant exudes charm with its spacious outdoor seating and inviting atmosphere. Despite its appealing location and decor, recent dining experiences reveal significant drawbacks. Patrons cite slow service and disappointing food quality, particularly during busy times. While the outdoor courtyard offers a relaxing escape and the cocktails receive praise, the inconsistent dining experiences detract from the overall enjoyment. However, the venue is noted for accommodating events like baby showers, backed by friendly staff and a commendable drinks menu. Ultimately, it holds potential, yet improvements in service and food quality are essential for a more satisfying visit.
What User likes about The Vineyard:
large bar in the direction of the upper end of the upper street with large outside area with benches on the front inside is also quite spacious. my favorite thing at this bar is the prosecco on tap for approx. £4.50! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Vineyard:
Food was terrible! Sunday roast was thin slivers of over cooked beef with frozen vegetables and the smallest Yorkshire pudding. Service lacked communication and any form of organisation. My friend had finished his meal and his plate cleared before I received mine. The courtyard is a lovely area but I will not be coming back as it is not worth the frustration. Management, kitchen and wait staff need a massive wake up... View all feedback.
