I recently rediscovered this lovely pub in a great central location in the city. It is a relaxed and friendly place to eat. We tried their delicious veggie burger and chips, and also went back for breakfast. The pub serves good quality and affordable food, and the bar staff were helpful. The food was not very good I had the bbq chicken and the chips were over done the onion rings were just batter and over done and a very little portion the chicken was in a terrible bbq and onion sauce it was more like a bbq and onion relish rather than a sauce and three little tomatoes on the side that felt like they had nothing to do with the main course itself very underwhelmed with the food.
