This is my second attempt at Monja. The first time my pork chop take out looked and tasted outright spoiled and just went into the trash. But I keep seeing this place packed with people, so I tried it again. Pretty underwhelming. The signature pork is a must have. Their service is also fast and convenient, perfect for dinner or lunch.
Get the char siu and thank me later. Lunch specials are a great deal. The noodle soup was lacking in flavor though, which was disappointing, but otherwise everything was great.
Their signature dishes are still pretty good and the popcorn chicken they serve is alright given the price. I would stay away from the chicken wrapped dish that they have as the portion is about half as big as the depicted image. If you come here for lunch, the lunch specials are pretty good value, so keep that in mind if you're ever in the area.

Am I ordering the wrong dishes? It's definitely a very cheap place, but the food is not great. Note: The parking lot can get crowded, but there's always a lot of available parking underground.
It's my first time dining here. Love the food and service. We will come visit again soon
