Located in the Sandy Bay area of Tasmania, Poseidon Restaurant offers a variety of seafood options at reasonable prices. While some dishes were hit or miss, with overcooked shrimp and salty smoked salmon, others, such as the fresh oysters and well-cooked flake, stood out. The service was good despite being understaffed, and the restaurant itself was clean. Overall, Poseidon provides a decent seafood dining experience, with highlights like the delicious chowder and fresh abalone congee. The restaurant is worth a visit for those looking for a casual and affordable seafood meal in the area.
What Loraine Lindgren likes about Poseidon Restaurant:
Had a great lunch here yesterday, just 2 courses each, from a good varied menu. Sashimi was fabulous, also fish in batter and chips, can’t really muck about with them really ? Some good Tasmanian wine and good friends, recommend it for a casual lunch, a bit noisy with the table next to us with lots of kids, but still a good place for inexpensive dining. View all feedback.
