I really enjoy Square Cafe. This was my second visit to the restaurant, with my first being for lunch. I particularly enjoyed the tartare on the menu. We ordered the tenderloins and scallops, both of which were delicious. We made sure to leave room for dessert, which did not disappoint. I would recommend this restaurant for a date or small group, as it may be too small for a large party of 8 or more. View all feedback.

We arrived and were seated promptly. It was slow to ask us for a drink order, slow to return with the drinks, one which the waitress indicated was improperly made and returned and the second was not what was ordered. As the ferry transported me from Boston to Hingham I had but one thought: No Boston dinner for me.
I tread carefully around white table cloth dining rooms which paint themselves to be "the restaurant" in a rural bedroom town.
I had one of the rare five-star dining experiences at this restaurant. While it's not exactly inexpensive, it was absolutely worth it. My only minor complaint is that I wanted to order my main course, but the waitress took quite a while to come back to me. When I eventually prompted her, she responded with a bit of attitude. On a positive note, the shrimp scampi was the best I've had in years, and the Brussels sprout appetizer was both huge and delicious. Overall, it was a really positive experience!
