This was our first visit, and overall, we found the food delicious. However, my partner encountered a few pieces of fat and a bit of gristle in his steak that he had to spit out. We chose to sit outside since it was chilly inside, but there was a broken glass bottle near our table, which was a bit concerning. On a positive note, the staff were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Overall, I would rate the food a 4 out of 5.

The service was lackluster, and it was clear that the staff wasn’t very enthusiastic about being at work. To top it off, I ended up with food poisoning (or at least I hope that's all it is), which means I'm starting my day off on a bad note. Please be cautious!
Usually, the chipotle in Hickory makes really great with customer service and quality! But for this trip. It did not go as usual, the service was lack of gloss. You could say they weren't too excited to be at work. I also got food poison (imma hope thats it) and so I will begin on the wrong foot today. Please be tired!
On a previous visit, our orders were completely mixed up, and rather than remaking what we had originally requested, they offered to serve our food in small plastic sauce cups. I've tried to give this restaurant multiple chances, but it seems they don’t care much about their customers. If you arrive less than an hour before closing time, don't expect to find much available, as they're often "out" of many items. The management here definitely needs improvement.
Usually, the Chipotle in Hickory provides great customer service and delicious food. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was disappointing. The service was not up to standard, and the staff seemed unmotivated. To make matters worse, I ended up with food poisoning—or at least I hope that's all it is—which has really affected my day.
