Staggeringly bad. We were given the menu and left to peruse. When we were ready to order, choosing a variety of seafood dishes, we were advised ‘sorry we don’t have that, if you wanted that you should have given us 24 hours notice’. What?! Good service and beautiful meal. the fish was fresh and first-class. we will return.
Declined on some fish and chips as takeaway. Awful chips, reboiled, but then bad. Fish was also poor and not fresh. Never again. He wasn't interested.
I was raised in the north of England and have been living in London for over 15 years. It comes as no surprise that I have struggled to find a fish and chip shop in the south that can compare to the many excellent options available in the north.
