I have been to this place years ago but this time look like this has new owners. Love the menu i am vegetarian myself and family. Nice environment, the girl who took our orders lovely with smile. Compliments to the chef as well Over all will be back and tell my friends to visit as well keep up the excellent work. View all feedback.
The restaurant offers fantastic food with a great selection of wines. The dishes were served promptly and looked delicious. The owner/chef even took the time to talk to the customers, adding a nice personal touch. It was a unexpectedly amazing dining experience in rural New Zealand. The lamb shank dish was absolutely delicious. If you find yourself in Hāwera, you must visit this restaurant.
On a beautiful sunny day, this restaurant is the perfect spot for a delicious lunch! They offer a great selection of food, including a kids menu, and the garden seating area is simply gorgeous. The best part is that they are very dog-friendly. Our furry friend received lots of attention from the staff, who even brought her a big bowl of cold water and some treats of her own. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this place.
The friendly staff were more than willing to accommodate my request to replace the halloumi cheese with mushrooms, and the dish tasted fantastic. I also selected the coconut detox smoothie, which was a refreshing choice.
4 of us dined in for my husbands birthday dinner, we were greeted by a very nice waitress and shown to our table. I was so happy to see the different dietary options they provide on the menu. I ordered a chicken burger (changing to GF option , their fries aren't GF since they are cooked in the same vat as gluten containing products so they offered to do me a potato mash which came with pumpkin chutney, and ordering GF garlic bread as entrée (there were 3 but I already ate one before taking the photo! The food was absolutely amazing! Both waitress and waiter were fabulous and the restaurant/Cafe itself is very cozy and very fair in pricing. We have found our favorite eatery.
First time here. Almost missed the place being outside the town but glad we stopped. Had the best eggs benedict and black bean vegan vege burger. Chips were lovely and crispy and the flavours were spot on. Table staff were very friendly and courteous. Coffee was also very good.
