This is my first visit and a chance meeting with this place. I 'm from DEEP south Alabama and I wanted some famed Maryland crab. Sadly, due to a screwing from the Maryland Department Fisheries, this place received a poor lottery tick from allotted yearly crab. Ok. I got their homemade crab cakes. FANTASTIC. We got a dozen large crabs and five of the twelve were “mushy” which means they were NOT ALIVE when steamed. The operator of River City knows if the crab is dead or alive when he puts it in the steamer. He’s steaming and selling dead crabs. Don’t waste your money. View all feedback.
