I genuinely enjoy the food at Capt. D's, but the service at this Grenada location is quite slow. Additionally, the rice has frequently been undercooked, as if it hasn't been boiled properly. I suspect that some of these problems may stem from being short-staffed, which really needs attention through improved recruitment.
I spent $26, and the food was terrible! The fish was overcooked and tough, and the hushpuppies were so hard that I couldn't eat them. The baked potato tasted old and was also hard. I will never return to this place.
It was time they opened. Sat... sat on the ride thru. Nobody ever answered. So decided to go in. Customers left the door back to their vehicle because the door was still locked. No employee ever said what's going on
I won’t be coming back to this Captain D's. The fish portions were small, with more skin than actual meat. The mac and cheese had an off-putting aftertaste, and the fish was greasy. The only items that were worth eating were the coleslaw and hush puppies; everything else was disappointing.
I tried to use the drive-thru to place my order, but after waiting over 20 minutes, I decided to leave. The restaurant didn't appear to be very busy at that time.
