I highly recommend the Staybridge Suites hotel in Grand Forks. It 's a very clean, new, upscale place that offers large rooms with kitchenettes and new furnishings, and which is inexpensive for the level of quality. The staff was very friendly and professional. I've stayed at this Staybridge 11 times in the last year. It's conveniently located to downtown and across the street from the Alerus Center. I have no real complaints other than the thin walls. I could hear the next door room snoring incredibly loud. They offer a lot of amenities such as dinner, wine and beer in the evening and breakfast. The breakfast was kinda garbage but it was free.
