I highly recommend the Staybridge Suites hotel in Grand Forks. It 's a very clean, new, upscale place that offers large rooms with kitchenettes and new furnishings, and which is inexpensive for the level of quality. The staff was very friendly and professional. What Travis L doesn't like about Staybridge Suites Grand Forks:
I've stayed at this Staybridge 11 times in the last year. It's conveniently located to downtown and across the street from the Alerus Center. I have no real complaints other than the thin walls. I could hear the next door room snoring incredibly loud. They offer a lot of amenities such as dinner, wine and beer in the evening and breakfast. The breakfast was kinda garbage but it was free. Was here for a little over a month. Good breakfast everday and great dinners Mon-Wed Staff made me feel like I was staying at a BNB Ice cold beer or wine with dinner service. Best dinner nights were: steak night, burger/brat, taco.. nice when you dont have to worry about making your own. THANK YOU STAFF OF GRAND FORKS FOR MAKING THIS OUT OF TOWER FEEL RIGHT AT HOME!

WOW! Amazing service, comfort at an affordable price. There is a daily hot breakfast with eggs, meat and potato selections that vary daily. Mondays through Wednesdays there is a beer and wine reception with food. All rooms are studio apartments, with fully stocked kitchens, full size fridge, dishwasher, disposal, kitchen sink, the works. BBQ area. Firepit. Nice pool and jacuzzi. 100 channel cable TV and extensive DVD library. Media den with big screen TV, books, games, etc. Staff is super friendly and greets you personally. Huge comfy lobby with country club lounge environment. Fast, strong internet everywhere throughout the property. Best deals for this hotel are on hotwire

The hotel was clean, but unfortunately, the bed was one of the most uncomfortable I've ever slept on. The breakfast was just mediocre; the eggs had a rubbery texture. While some of the staff were polite, many were not very pleasant. Our air conditioning wasn’t working, and the front desk clerk argued with my husband, who has over 20 years of HVAC experience. Additionally, while staying with a large group, the front desk clerk mistakenly handed me a credit card that belonged to another group member, expecting me to return it to them. This was quite unprofessional and careless regarding someone's personal financial information. Overall, we won’t be returning to this hotel. I’m giving 2 stars solely for cleanliness.
