Description

Spoonful is a charming little cafe on High Street in Prahran that offers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Although it may be a bit upmarket for lunch, the food is fresh and reliable. The menu is not extensive, but it includes delicious options like fried green tomatoes benedict and dukkah scrambled eggs. The cafe also serves excellent coffee and offers some interesting juice combinations. While the service can be slow during busy times, most customers are able to find a table and enjoy a good meal. Locals often queue up to dine at Spoonful, which also has outdoor seating for those who prefer to enjoy their meal al fresco. The decor is regularly updated, giving the cafe a fresh feel. Overall, Spoonful is a popular spot that consistently delivers good food, great coffee, and friendly service, making it a go-to destination for many Melbourne residents.

We went there this morning & found that spoonful is no longer a restaurant- it's now become a catering & private dining place.

I was invited to join friends at this quaint little cafe. There is no doubt the food served to everyone was delicious.Having a few at our table the let down was waiting for all the meals to arrive at the same time. This small place produces its own baked goods too.We were able to try a good selection of the baked goodies also excellent.Quaint and worth a visit for sure.

I have tried most items on them menu over the years. It's a good spot and it's clean. Granted it's Not cheap but the coffee is good and it's a good start to the day.

Alright this one is for the oldies, and I don't mean that with a shred of rudeness or disrespect.

Looked forward to lovely brunch, not crowded, dukkah scrambled eggs and coffee, had to walk through the kitchen to bathroom, did not look too hygenic, dissappointed with toast, would suggest the dukkah on the side as I would not like this again. Eggs a bit overpowered with dukkah taste, 4 hrs later ended up quite unwell. Would not go again. Not too busy, Teaspoon next door looked interesting for take out food and coffee. The food made further at the rear past the bathroom. Expensive, other eateries opening up within short walk.
