Elsternwick is always a quirky suburb to go for my foodie experience; a blend of the old & the new world, plethora of Jewish bakeries, funky cafes, the people and just loaded with diversity. This cafe is no different, modern but a little bit "worn" and a new operator in charge.Food wise, brunch menu was enjoyable, above average and Latte was just average too (St Ali coffee beans?), however their Nirvana Chai made the 1 hour drive worthwhile ..... got to have it there, presentation, taste ..... and yes, we did visit a local Jewish bakery after, the joy of double dipping....... :-) on your day off.All the very best to the new "lovely" and attentive operator ...... This cafe is one of my two favourite in Elsternwick - this is definitely a better one to sit in, take advantage of the free wifi and spend an
Without any doubt this cafe is our most favourite. We eat here at least twice a week.
If you are in search of the best chai ever, look no further! Made fresh right in front of me and served perfectly by the cafe owner, who was the most delightful lady. Definitely give it a try, you won't be disappointed!
Come here for the Niravan Chai, nothing like you have ever tried before. Amazing flavours and great presentation. I know my Indian chai and this is the best in Melbourne and easily comparable with the quality available in Indian. The owner is lovely and personable. I would rate this place a 5 just for the chai.Good food options but I bit of a miss. I tried the lamb bagel not very impressed but could be better with some improvements.
